Dr. Horrible -- Bad Horse -- Guitar Chords/Tabs

Here are lyrics and tabs/chords for the second song from Dr Horrible Act I, presumably entitled: Bad Horse

D G
Bad Horse, (Bad Horse)

D G
Bad Horse, (Bad Horse)

D
he rides across the nation;
    G D
the thoroughbred of sin.

D
He got the application

         D E A
that you just sent in.

D
It needs evaluation,

           G C
so let the games begin:

C
A heinous crime, a show of force,

A
a murder would be nice of course.

D G
Bad Horse, (Bad Horse)

D G
Bad Horse (He's bad)

D
The evil league of evil

   G D
is watching, so beware.

D
The grade that you receive

             D E A
will be your last we swear.

D
So, make the bad horse (gleeful)?,

   G C
or he'll make you his mare.

       C
You're saddled up; there's no recourse.

     A
It's "Hi, Ho, Silver!"

            D
Signed: Bad Horse

I have found interesting

I have found interesting sources and would like to give the benefit of my experience to you.
I am tuning my pc by the best software for free, with the file search engine

May be you have your own experience and could give some useful sites too. Because this social site help me much.

I said, make me GLEEFUL.

I am already both able and evil, and there's nothing that Dr. Horrible fool could do to make me grateful. Keiful and people don't even make sense. If you need further proof look up the lyrics at drhorrible.com. THE THOROUGHBRED OF SIN HAS SPOKEN!

Say it with me now:

Gleeful. G-L-E-E-F-U-L.

"So make the Bad Horse gleeful, or he'll make you his mare..."

Those are the words. Plus, able and grateful don't make sense people.

People?

"So make the Bad Horse people..." doesn't make sense either.

make the bad horse (somthing)

I think it's

so make the bad horse people or he'll make you his mare

Closed Captions

I checked the closed captions - it's all posted on Hulu (www.hulu.com/dr-horribles-sing-along-blog) & there's a CC option. The CC say "gleeful". I have noticed some errors with the captions, but they were always with the entire sentence, not one single word. I think it's gleeful.

~ E

it is gleeful

quite clearly.

Its Gleeful. Look it up in a dictionary.

gleeful
Adjective
merry or joyful, esp. over someone else's mistake or misfortune

He is already evil, so you cant make him more evil. and he wouldn't be grateful. Gleeful! HAPPY!

I'm pretty sure it's "make

I'm pretty sure it's "make the bad horse able".

I'm pretty sure i'ts "so make

I'm pretty sure i'ts "so make the badhorse able, or he'll make you his mare".

It's not 'gleeful' There's a

It's not 'gleeful'

There's a definite consonant at the begining of the word, and a f in the middle leading to the ---ful sound at the end. Sounds like a 'k' to me.
After some googling of words staring with k and ending with f, I think it's a made up word, 'keiful'. An adjective referring to the state of being sedate, content or happy; based on the slang term 'keif' for concentrated marijuana term used in Canada and Europe.

It's "gleeful".

It's "gleeful".

Grateful!

I'm pretty sure that it's grateful.

Long E

Context wise I was ready to change gleeful to grateful without question, but using Fission and listening to the section on infinite repeat about the only thing I'm certain of is a long E sound and a 'ful', 'fle', or 'vil' sound. Considering the penchant for puns in these types of songs I wouldn't be surprised if the word is directly related to the joke about bad horse making you his mare.

(gleeful)?

So, make the bad horse <>(gleeful)<>?,

It's "evil".

Not sure

I'm not convinced it's evil, nor am I convinced it's gleeful, it certainly sounds like there's a consonant of some kind at the beginning of the word, or they're all just stepping on it. From a purely semantic point of view, gleeful seems a better choice than evil as Bad Horse is likely already evil because he's in the Evil League of Evil.
